This course is for those looking to begin a career in the electrical field. Classes will focus on the necessary theory and practical training to become an electrician’s helper or assistant. All the appropriate basics will be covered.

This course helps the students achieve a basic understanding of the electrical systems theory and its application to devices, circuits, and materials. The knowledge obtained by taking this course permits the student to progress to further study.

The practice of this course consists of:

How to install electrical switches, bells, light bulbs, lamps, installation of two- and three-way switches. how to use bx cables, how electrical codes are applied in the installations.

The objective of practical training is to provide the student with supervised opportunities to experience the essential practical tasks emphasized in their study and also to provide opportunities to apply their acquired skills and knowledge in working life.
