1-Hour Fire Protection and Prevention – Online

The 1-Hour Fire Protection and Prevention course is designed to provide construction and trade workers with essential knowledge and skills to reduce fire hazards and respond effectively in case of a fire emergency. Fires remain one of the most serious risks on worksites, and this training equips participants to identify risks, handle flammable materials properly, and use fire protection equipment safely.

Participants will learn about the different classes of fires, appropriate extinguishing methods, and the safe storage and handling of combustible materials. The training emphasizes compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart F – Fire Protection and Prevention, along with applicable NYC Department of Buildings Site Safety Training (SST) requirements.
