1 Hour Tools - Hand and Power - Online

The 1-Hour Tools – Hand and Power course provides construction and trade workers with essential training on the safe use, handling, and maintenance of both hand tools and power tools commonly used in the workplace. Improper use of tools is a leading cause of workplace injuries, and this course emphasizes correct procedures to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.

Participants will learn to identify common hazards, inspect tools before use, and apply safe work practices in accordance with OSHA standards. The course also covers proper personal protective equipment (PPE), safe storage methods, and the importance of following manufacturer’s instructions. This training aligns with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart I – Tools – Hand and Power and NYC Department of Buildings Site Safety Training (SST) requirements.
