Get your License to operate fuel burning equipment using residual fuel oil. Every operator of residual oil equipment must hold a License to operate equipment using residual fuel oil. To help prevent air pollution you must understand the operation of an oil burner. Knowing the parts of your equipment, where they are located and how they work can be helpful in preventing smoke.
According to the City’s law no person shall cause or permit the use of fuel burning equipment, unless they have received a certificate, within six months of their employment, which states that they have successfully completed a course in the techniques of Air Pollution Control.
