Cosmetology

The Cosmetology program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and professional techniques required to become licensed cosmetologists in the State of New York. This comprehensive course includes theoretical and practical instruction in all areas of beauty care—hair styling, haircutting, coloring, chemical services, skincare, makeup application, and nail care. The program is aligned with the standards of the New York State Department of State, Division of Licensing Services, preparing students for both the written and practical licensing examinations.

Students will gain hands-on experience in a salon-like environment, learning modern methods of client consultation, sanitation, and safety procedures. Emphasis is placed on developing creativity, professionalism, and customer service excellence. Graduates of this program are prepared to work in salons, spas, and beauty establishments or to operate their own cosmetology business upon licensure.
