International Development Institute establishes graduation requirements to ensure that all students have successfully achieved the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for their program of study. Students must meet all academic, attendance, and financial requirements in order to graduate.
Attendance Requirement
Students must meet the attendance requirements established for their program. A minimum attendance rate of eighty-five percent (85%) is required unless a higher standard applies.
Certain programs require one hundred percent (100%) attendance for successful completion, including but not limited to the following:
- Air Pollution Control
- Basic Electricity
- Basic Plumbing
- Boiler Operator
- Building Maintenance Code
- Building Maintenance Technician
- Building Operation Maintenance and Record Keeping
- Notary Public
- Fire Safety Director
- Real Estate Salesperson
- Real Estate Broker
- 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course for Security Guard
- 16-Hour On the Job Training Course for Security Guard
- 8-Hour In-Service Training Course for Security Guard
- 47-Hour Armed Security Guard Training Course
- 8-Hour Annual Firearms Training Course for Security Guard
Students enrolled in programs requiring one hundred percent (100%) attendance must meet that requirement in order to graduate.
Academic Performance
Students must achieve a minimum passing grade of seventy percent (70%), or the equivalent standard established by the school’s grading system, unless otherwise specified by program or regulatory requirements. Academic performance is measured through examinations, assignments, practical evaluations, and other required coursework.
Course Completion
Students must successfully complete at least ninety-five percent (95%) of all required coursework and instructional hours in order to graduate, unless otherwise specified by program requirements or regulatory standards.
Program Requirements
Students must complete all courses, modules, practical training, and any required examinations associated with their program of study. Where applicable, students must meet all external regulatory or licensing requirements.
Financial Obligations
All tuition, fees, and any outstanding financial obligations must be satisfied prior to graduation. The school reserves the right to withhold a diploma, certificate, or transcript until all financial obligations have been fulfilled.
Conduct and Compliance
Students must comply with all school policies, including conduct, attendance, and academic integrity requirements. Failure to comply with school policies may affect eligibility for graduation.
Issuance of Credential
Upon successful completion of all graduation requirements, students will be awarded the appropriate diploma or certificate for their program of study. The school does not guarantee employment, licensure, or certification upon graduation.
Records
Graduation status and completion records are maintained as part of the student’s permanent academic file and may be reviewed by regulatory agencies as required.
